Our Sanctuary choir is an essential part of worship at Claremont Presbyterian Church.  The choir is made up primarily of volunteer singers with a few college student choral interns in the mix each year.

We welcome anyone who loves to sing to be a part of our choir. Practice is from 7:30-9:00p.m. each Thursday.  Sunday morning call time is 9:30 a.m.  Most of our choir sings with us year-round, however we welcome those who wish to join us in preparing major works for holidays such as Christmas and Easter.  Our director is also interested in discovering the instrumentalist among us.  Do you play flute? Violin? Tuba? Clarinet? Drums?  Please let us know. We love to incorporate instrumental music in worship.

The musical selections for any given Sunday connect strongly with the scripture text for the day, the theme of the sermon, and the liturgical season of the year.  Our music spans the range from classical to folk to gospel to contemporary.  It also explores many stages on the journey of faith, from celebration to lament to wonder.
